Anthurium (Supermassive × Warocqueanum) × Papillilaminum | High Variegated Clone of Quasar, 3 Leaves
Clone from Quasar · M10Every figure here describes the specimen in the photographs as it is today, not the mother plant.
★ Clone of Quasar · M10
A clone from our in house mother plant Quasar (M10). The mother is not for sale, her clones are. You receive the exact plant photographed.
Anthurium (Supermassive × Warocqueanum) × Papillilaminum. A three leaf clone from our mother Quasar (M10), with stable white variegation, a massive root system and a fourth leaf already pushing.
The mother
Quasar has been on our bench since March 2026. Warocqueanum is the Queen: long pendant blades and stark white venation. Supermassive brings darkness. Papillilaminum brings substance and the velvet finish.
Quasar is the most elongated plant in this collection. As she matures the blade extends rather than widens. Her variegation is broad and cream rather than speckled, which suits a leaf shaped like this.
This plant is a clone taken directly from her, not a seedling, so it carries her genetics rather than rolling the dice on a new combination. The exact pattern shifts leaf to leaf, so every new leaf is its own reveal.
This specimen
- Type: Clone from mother Quasar (M10), not seed grown
- Stage: Three leaf baby with a fourth leaf sprouting
- Leaves: 3, plus one emerging
- Variegation: High grade, clean white and stable across the leaves
- Roots: Massive, very well developed
- Included: Inner pot
- Notes: The strongest of the two Quasar clones in this drop. Variegated velvet leans on its green tissue, so this one is for growers who already keep velvet Anthuriums.
One specimen. Photographed as received. The mother is shown for reference only.
Care, briefly
- Light: Bright indirect, never direct, which scorches the velvet and the white sections first. Good light keeps the variegation clean.
- Water: Lightly and evenly moist, never wet, letting the surface just dry between waterings. Keep water off the velvet.
- Warmth: 20 to 25°C and stable. With velvet Anthuriums, steady warmth matters more than chasing humidity. No cold draughts, nothing below 15°C.
- Humidity: 65%+ suits a variegated velvet, but consistent warmth and airflow matter more.
- Mix: Airy, chunky epiphytic mix of bark, perlite and charcoal, fast draining.
- Pace: Three leaves, a fourth on the way and a heavy root system, so this one is ready to move. Let it settle after shipping before sizing up.
Thank you for collecting with us.
Quasar
This specimen is a rooted clone taken from her, not a seedling. Same variegation genetics, same leaf architecture, same growth habit. What she looks like today is what this plant becomes.
The photograph is not an illustration of what your plant might become. It is the specification.
