Five variegated seedlings of the same cross, sold together as one lot. You receive the exact plants photographed. The parents are shown in the last photo.
Anthurium (SKG Silver × Red Crystallinum) × (Papillilaminum Variegated × Carlablackiae). Five seedlings, all showing fine variegation, each established in a 5 cm pot with healthy roots you can see through the side.
The cross
The seed side pairs SKG Silver, from the Silver Krome Gardens line in Redlands, Florida, with Red Crystallinum. Silver venation on one side, red pigment on the other.
The pollen side is variegated papillilaminum over carlablackiae, the same pairing behind our own mother Aurora (M01). Variegation comes from a parent that already carries it, which is the difference between a plant that holds its pattern and one that drifts.
Five genotypes, not five copies
These are seed grown, so each plant is its own individual. Same parents, different draw: leaf shape, venation, colour and the way the variegation settles will differ from plant to plant. That is the point of a lot. Grow them on side by side, find your keeper, and trade or share the rest. Every new leaf is its own reveal, and with five genotypes you get five chances at a standout.

Care, briefly
- Light: Bright indirect, never direct, which scorches the variegated sections first. Good light keeps the colour clean.
- Water: Lightly and evenly moist, never wet, letting the surface just dry between waterings.
- Warmth: 20 to 25°C and stable. Steady warmth matters more than chasing humidity. No cold draughts, nothing below 15°C.
- Humidity: 65%+ suits variegated plants, but consistent warmth and airflow matter more.
- Mix: Airy, chunky epiphytic mix of bark, perlite and charcoal, fast draining. Pot up from 5 cm once roots fill the pot.
- Pace: Three to five leaves on healthy roots, so they are past the fragile stage. Give each new leaf a couple of weeks to harden before judging its pattern.
