Anthurium 'Papi Peach' ร DPN โ from KN Nursery. A rare peach-line velvet seedling carrying halfmoon variegation on both leaves โ only a handful have reached the EU.
The cross
'Papi Peach' is a peach-toned selection of Anthurium papillilaminum โ the dark velvet Panamanian benchmark, here chosen for warm peach and coral emergent tones rather than pure black. It is crossed with DPN, a dark velvet selection from KN Nursery, pairing that peach colour with deep velvet character.
It's a young seedling, but it already shows halfmoon variegation โ a near-even split of cream and green โ across both of its leaves, which is exactly what makes this cross so sought after. Only a small number have come into the EU. Seed-grown and one of a kind; variegated velvet is delicate and leans on its green to grow.

Care, briefly
- Light: Bright indirect โ never direct, which marks the velvet and scorches the variegation. Bright, stable light helps a halfmoon seedling hold balance.
- Water: Lightly and evenly moist โ never wet. A small variegated seedling is sensitive to wet feet; keep water off the velvet.
- Humidity: 65%+. Stable, high humidity is important for a young halfmoon plant to push clean leaves.
- Mix: Airy, chunky epiphytic mix โ bark, perlite and charcoal โ fast-draining.
- Warmth: 20โ27ยฐC. No cold draughts, nothing below 15ยฐC.
- Pace: It's a baby โ give it stability to build leaf count. A halfmoon can shift as it grows, so watch each new leaf as it comes.
Thank you for collecting with us.
One window,three days.
This piece has lived on our shelves long enough to know its rhythm โ rooted, photographed, and firm-checked before it joined the Birthday Collection. Year 1 isn't a sale, it's an anniversary โ and the plants here were held back from the regular shelves for exactly this window.
One plant. One owner. When she's gone, she's gone.
Rare. Selected. Limited. The way it should be โ and the way it always is here.
