Anthurium Eclipse Rose | Clone of Rose, 2 Leaves — Rare in Europe
Clone from Rose · M21Every figure here describes the specimen in the photographs as it is today, not the mother plant.
★ Clone of Rose · M21 · Barely Present in Europe
A clone from our in house mother plant Rose (M21). The mother is not for sale, her clones are. You receive the exact plant photographed.
Mother on last photo.
Anthurium Hoffmannii × Ace of Spades. A two leaf clone from our mother Rose (M21), pushing a third leaf, on good roots. To our knowledge there are one or two plants of this cross in Europe, and Rose is one of them.
Why this one is priced where it is
This is not a cross you will find listed elsewhere and then compare prices on. It barely exists on this continent. Clones from Rose are the only way into this line, and there are very few of them, released one at a time.
You are not buying leaf count here. You are buying access to genetics that almost nobody in Europe can offer, at the earliest stage we release them.
The mother
Rose has been on our bench since January 2026. Hoffmannii brings the venation and the finer blade. Ace of Spades brings the depth and the near black ground the colour sits on.
Her variegation is sectoral rather than speckled. One side of the blade carries pink while the other stays bronze and olive, split along the midrib, so no leaf of hers comes out symmetrical.
This plant is a clone taken directly from her, not a seedling, so it carries her genetics rather than rolling the dice on a new combination.
Read this before you buy
This clone is low in variegation right now. One leaf carries colour along its outer edge, the other does not. Sectoral variegation behaves in waves: a plant will often push a run of near green leaves and then a run of heavily variegated ones, which is exactly what this line does.
So you are buying Rose's genetics at a stage where the pattern has not come forward yet. That can swing either way on any individual plant, and we would rather say that plainly than sell you a promise. Buy this one if you want the line and are willing to grow it out.
This specimen
- Type: Clone from mother Rose (M21), not seed grown
- Leaves: 2, with a third pushing
- Variegation: Low at present, showing along the outer edge of one leaf
- Roots: Good
- Pot: 7cm
- Rarity: One of very few plants of this cross in Europe
- Included: Inner pot
- Notes: For collectors who know how sectoral variegation behaves over time.
One specimen. Photographed as received. The mother is shown for reference only.
Care, briefly
- Light: Bright indirect, never direct. Good light is what brings colour forward on new leaves.
- Water: Lightly and evenly moist, never wet, letting the surface just dry between waterings.
- Warmth: 20 to 25°C and stable. Steady warmth matters more than chasing humidity. No cold draughts, nothing below 15°C.
- Humidity: 65%+, with consistency mattering more than high numbers.
- Mix: Airy, chunky epiphytic mix of bark, perlite and charcoal, fast draining.
- Pace: Let the roots fill the 7cm pot before sizing up, and judge this plant over several leaves rather than on the two it has now.

Rose
This specimen is a rooted clone taken from her, not a seedling. Same variegation genetics, same leaf architecture, same growth habit. What she looks like today is what this plant becomes.
The photograph is not an illustration of what your plant might become. It is the specification.
