Anthurium (Crystallinum × Angela) × (Forgetii × Crystallinum) | High Variegated Clone of Iris
Clone from Iris · M03Every figure here describes the specimen in the photographs as it is today, not the mother plant.
★ Clone of Iris · M03
A clone from our in house mother plant Iris (M03). The mother is not for sale, her clones are. You receive the exact plant photographed.
Anthurium (Crystallinum × Angela) × (Forgetii × Crystallinum). A two leaf clone from our mother Iris (M03) with very high grade variegation, elongated leaves starting to take their adult form, and a new leaf pushing that is the best one yet.
The mother
Iris has been on our bench since December 2025. Four parents, with crystallinum appearing on both halves of the cross. That doubles down on the bold silver venation the species is known for.
Forgetii closes the leaf, with no sinus at all, and Angela adds her own leaf structure to the mix. The result is unusually high vein contrast for the plant's size, and tricolor sectoring has appeared on her recent leaves.
This plant is a clone taken directly from her, not a seedling, so it carries her genetics rather than rolling the dice on a new combination. Variegation is already showing here, and the pattern shifts leaf to leaf, so every new leaf is its own reveal.
This specimen
- Type: Clone from mother Iris (M03), not seed grown
- Leaves: 2, with a new leaf pushing
- Variegation: Very high grade, and strong on the emerging leaf
- Form: Leaves starting to take adult shape, long and elongated
- Roots: Good, well developed
- Pot: 7cm
- Included: Inner pot
- Notes: Variegated tissue leans on its green, so this one is for growers who already keep Anthuriums.
One specimen. Photographed as received. The mother is shown for reference only.
Care, briefly
- Light: Bright indirect, never direct, which scorches the variegated sections first. Good light keeps the vein contrast and the variegation clean.
- Water: Lightly and evenly moist, never wet, letting the surface just dry between waterings.
- Warmth: 20 to 25°C and stable. Steady warmth matters more than chasing humidity. No cold draughts, nothing below 15°C.
- Humidity: 65%+ suits a variegated plant, but consistent warmth and airflow matter more.
- Mix: Airy, chunky epiphytic mix of bark, perlite and charcoal, fast draining.
- Pace: Let the roots fill the 7cm pot before sizing up, and give the new leaf a couple of weeks to harden before judging its pattern.

Iris
This specimen is a rooted clone taken from her, not a seedling. Same variegation genetics, same leaf architecture, same growth habit. What she looks like today is what this plant becomes.
The photograph is not an illustration of what your plant might become. It is the specification.
