How self-watering works
Water from below, not above.
01
Fill the reservoir
Water goes in the base, not on the substrate. The top stays dry.
02
The wick takes over
Moisture moves up steadily instead of in floods and droughts.
03
Roots drink on demand
The plant takes what it needs. Aroid roots stay aerated between drinks.
04
Refill and forget
Check the level every two to three weeks. That is the whole routine.
The plant decides when it drinks. You decide once every three weeks.
Why this one
Made for the plants we sell.
Built for aroids
Designed around velvet Anthurium and Alocasia roots, which rot in wet substrate and stall in dry. This keeps them in between.
Printed to order
Nothing sits in a warehouse. Each pot is printed when you order it, which is why the colour range can stay this wide.
One system, all sizes
MINI and MIDI share the same logic. Inner pots and reservoirs are replaceable on their own.
Before you buy
Questions we get.
Can I use my own substrate?
Yes. It works with sphagnum, bark mixes and semi hydro. Avoid dense peat, it holds too much water for the wick to work properly.
How do I know when to refill?
The inner pot lifts out. If the reservoir is empty, refill it. Most collectors land on a two to three week rhythm.
Is it safe for a newly shipped plant?
Wait until the plant has settled and pushed a root or two. A stressed root system should not be moved straight into a new watering method.
