Anthurium clarinervium (Mexico) brings the opposite signature: thick, leathery, almost cardboard-stiff heart leaves with a bold, contrasting silver-white vein network, grown lithophytically on limestone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"line-height: 1.6;\"\u003eTogether they make a substantial, heart-shaped leaf with real thickness — red on emergence, darkening with age, and crossed with strong pale veining.
