It is grown for colour above all: deep green to near black velvet blades, rounded and bullate, crossed with fine veins. The name says it plainly, this is about as dark as velvet Anthurium gets. It traces to top growers in Indonesia and sits behind many of the elite dark velvet crosses on the market.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"line-height: 1.6;\"\u003eOn its own, Darkest Panama is already a top shelf plant. This specimen carries variegation on top of that near black base, and the contrast is the whole story. Variegation is guaranteed on this plant.
